Abstract

A study was conducted to determine if the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal or the California Critical Thinking Skills Test would predict student performance in a developmental freshman critical thinking course. Although similarities between the tests and the course were found, neither test proved appropriate for prediction purposes.
